I’m really hoping this is a pullet, but I have 2 ameraucanas and a questionable Wyandotte that seem to be challenging and squaring off with my confirmed Cochin cockerel. Almost impossible to get good pics though. I’m questioning both of my ameraucanas but I’ll put them in separate posts because the pics are almost identical

You can tell if it is an real ameraucana by the price Easter Eggers run around $5 real ameraucana run about $15. https://www.meyerhatchery.com/ is the only place online to sell the real deal that i have seen. I happen to look at McMurrays ameraucanas the other day and they are Easter Eggers. I have been tricked by the hatcherys myself. You live and learn. You will still get blue eggs if thats all you want you are good. If For breeding you might want to start over.

Very interesting! A little annoyed at McMurray for the deception, but I appreciate the info!! I learn a lot from you all. And yes these were around $4.50 each. Only wanted for the blue eggs so no harm no foul (fowl? Lol)

I got out of Americans because of this bull crap. I now breed silkie now. I was looking at some ameraucana hatching eggs on Craigslist because my hens have been brooding and not been laying much and wanted to fill up my incubator. But they said there chicken came from McMurray.
