10 Week Old Barred Rock Pullet or Cockrel?

Hi-

I have a mixed flock- my one barred rock looks like she may be a he. After pouring through all the threads on here- I decided I would ask you guys.

Rocky seems to be pretty dark with a big pink comb and wattle. Unfortunately, I dont have enough land to keep a rooster

Also he's actually pretty light in color which is typical for cockerel as they have two copies of the barring gene

The rest of the flock are *hopefully* pullet's- will they be OK when I remove the rooster?

Yes, the hens do not need any rooster to lay eggs! But a rooster will make your eggs fertile!
