10 week old chick eye injury.

One of our 10 week old chick's has an injury to her eye. I was out of town and my husband left them in the coop all day with our older hens so we suspect she was pecked. The eye is open, cloudy, and swollen, looks filled with fluid. Husband rinsed it with saline as did I when we got home. This happened 2 or 3 days ago. Is there anything we can do for her. I assume she will lose her eye.

Do you have any pictures? Does she have any other symptoms, such as sneezing, crackles breathing, or nasal drainage, that might point to a respiratory disease? I would apply some Terramycin eye ointment or plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic Ointment twice a day after cleaning the eye with saline.
