Unless it’s actually a hatchery quality RIR (couldn’t be due to the white), it’s a pullet. It’s a red sex link. She’s red. Her comb is pale pink. If she was a cockerel, it would be bright red as red sex link cockerels seem to develop quite fast. She just looks like a early maturer, which is normal for a RSL.

Still sticking with pullet.
That's why I asked if it was the sex link or not. I was pretty sure the other one was the buff, but I was just wanting to make sure.
Yes the red is a golden sexlink but has me concerned as well.
Well, if it really is a sex link it has to be female. Genetics don’t lie. However, is it possible they screwed up and gave you a RIR or NHR instead?

Thank you. Yes she is a Hatchery Sexlink. The other two, one is an EE, the other a Buff Orpington. I will keep you all posted. I was concerned because I had read somewhere that depending on how they are bred over time, every once in awhile, you can get a pullet looking Roo. Hope this is not true in our case. I do like the idea that maybe she will lay early At the moment Miranda ( my girls are named for country music singers) shares the bottom of the pecking order with my EE ( Emmylou) and doesn’t show many of what I would consider Roo characteristics. But she/he is still pretty young at 10-11weeks. So fingers crossed she is a Miranda and not an Andy. Lol. I will let you know when she either crows or lays an egg.
