We got this "roo" about 2 weeks ago and the lady was convinced it was a roo. She couldn't tell me how she knew. I've looked at pics and read a bunch of old threads. He's (?) our first Brahma so I am just learning about them. I have 3 cochins, so I understand size and a slow maturity. So what do you guys think? Is Beaker a Roo?

Definitely need to see head on pictures of the comb. I'm not great at sexing but with that sort of picture, I'm sure people could help.

Ok, Beaker is now 12-ish weeks old. Pics from today.

I still say Pullet.
Thanks so much. When the lady brought a couple “roos” to the poultry fair, she wouldn’t say what made him “a definite roo”. Since Brahmas are new to me. I thought maybe they have a “thing” that makes it obvious. So frustrating.
