10 week old Rhode Island Red...roo or hen?

Can someone help us identify this as a rooster or a hen...my daughter hand raised it in her bedroom and we will be devastated if we have to rehome it.

Sorry to say, but to me that is 100% a rooster. Especially being that young and that big of a comb.

Yeah, unfortunately that's a rooster.

At 10 weeks old, this Cockerel has a red comb and wattles. The tail feathers are not organized when you fan them out and most have points on them. He also looks like he is started to get his saddle feathers too.
He is a nice Cockerel. Keep him if your zoning permits.

Are these the saddle feathers?

The saddle feathers are near the base of the tail. Below is a picture of my rooster. At the base of the tail you can see them by the wing.
