Are they the same age? Picture makes on appear much older....

They look different but with silkies you never know til the egg(s) pop out

They are the same age, the fluffier crest could be because Phyllis put her head in a watermelon and the rolled in sand so she/he has been freshly bathed

If they aren't sister and brother you could breed them that is called line breeding, by line breeding you can breed phyllis and Bob together and then they're babies can breed back to their father and so on, but it only works for 4 generation's until they start getting deformed. Do NOT cross breed! That is when you breed a sister to a brother... They're babies will be deformed right off the bat. And they're babies, when they hatch, sometimes have their brains falling out of their head, or other bad problems.

Don’t worry we are not into breeding them And I would assume they are brother and sister because they came out of a “mixed bantam “ bin at tractor supply....I hopes one would be a girl that we could keep , we are not allowed roosters and my brother owns a farm so we have a wonderful place to re home Any rooster ! My kids te VERY AttChed to Phyllis
