Nice rounded crest like a girl. It is perfectly formed. But it has wattles like a boy. No sign of a comb yet.

It does not act aggressive like my other breeds of cockerels. The feathers on the neck and back look rounded to me.

That's definitely a female.

im thinking you might have yourself a cockerel as my 5 month old (although she has a beard) doesnt have any wattle development like that yet nor is her comb big or red...but then again mine does have a beard...i say post in the polish thread and ask there...

This is so confusing. I wish they were easier to sex. I had a polish breeder come and look at her yesterday and she is 80 percent sure it is a girl. She looked at the crest and for signs of hackle or saddle feathers. She didn't see any signs of it being male other than the wattles. She said last year she had a young bird with wattles and kept it because she needed another male but it turned out to be a girl. I guess I am just playing the waiting game to see if she crows or lays eggs.

you will soon find out, my polish male started crow-ling at 10 weeks, if she is not crow-ling yet, she is a she

Update. The wattles are redder. Still not crowing yet and still no signs of any kind of pointy feathers anywhere.
