HI all,

I have 3 ten week old chickens and one looks like it has a pox on it. These are our first chickens and they are housed with our 3 ducks... Is there anything that I should do or let it run its course?

You can see it here on the last part of the comb

That really does not look like pox, keeping the mosquito's away from the chickens, they get the pox from them, i vaccinate mine.

Does the bird also have respiratory symptoms? I ask, because I saw something similar in a pullet last year. A few black dots on the comb, no other symptoms. I thought it *might* be fowl pox, so I lightly dabbed iodine onto her comb, using a cotton swab. Did this twice. She never got sick and neither did the rest of the flock. Eventually her dots disappeared. I figure she didn't have fowl pox, after all.
