I was thinking of buying some eggs to let 1 of my broody hens hatch in order to get a new bloodline into my flock. Does anyone know if there is much of a health risk in doing this? I know eggs can't be washed or sterilized in any way, so I guess their could be some risk. Any thoughts on this anyone? Thanks!
