$100...What would you spend it on?

Right, but I did some math the other day and I have only spent 7% of my income this year on stuff I want. As of November or something like that. Not too bad, could have done better though. :/ What would you do if you had to spend it frivously? ;)

So....you just want to spend it! Go shoppin':p

Let's see.....for me, I would still probably save it so I could add a little more to buy an incubator. Of course, if you already have an incubator, maybe some hatching eggs or chicks when spring time comes - use the money to buy a breed that you always wanted.

That's exactly what I was thinking, buy some more chicks!

Wow! That's pretty amazing! Quick question:
Why would you just pay to have a cat neutered when you could donate it to somewhere where it could save people's lives? Or better yet, their souls?

Not that what you did was wrong or anything, I think it was great! :)
Honestly this is kind of an obnoxious question.

Excellent point. And, ultimately, that is the best use of our resources. Now, question back at you!

What is your true purpose in this life? At the end of the day, when you draw your last breath, how will you know if you have had a successful life? What is the meaning of success?

To have lived my life for God and to have glorified him! :) life wouldn't be worth living i didn't serve God! How bout you?

How so?

I'm a Christian, so that is just what is important to me. Yes, I still care about animals, God made them so they are important to me. He gave man dominion over them, and to take care of them. However, they were not made in his image, so I view helping people more important.

Please know that I'm NOT trying to judge you. I am sorry if I came across that way. :/

So, if you had to spend $100 on purely fun and frivolous non-soul saving things, how would you spend it?

Maybe a down payment on some custom made cowboy boots? There's a boot shop in downtown Carmel here in California that sells custom boots. They must cost a fortune!

I don't really know... thats kinda why I posted the thread. ;) Maybe to pay for gas to visit some friends I don't get to see very often. That would be a great treat! Or I would save it until something that I really wanted showed up, then I would have the money!

How was my last post obnoxious? I would really like to know!

Ack, gah! Well, okay, it was basically saying, "Thou are a lesser being for choosing a lowly kitty cat over a struggling human. Pray tell, why doth thou chooseth as such?"

I always struggled with the King James version of the bible.

Your question was judgement laden, even though you don't feel that way. How it made you feel when you wrote it is yours (owned and understood by you), and how it made me feel when I read it is mine. Two fair feelings.

I'm a Believer. I share my beliefs gently. I also know God designed me to love on animals more keenly than others do. It's one of my purposes for breathing air: to glorify God in my care of the very creatures he knows so well.

Now, I'm curious. How much is a gallon of gas where you live? We paid about $2.73/gallon at Safeway, but just down the road (farther outside town) gas costs $3.10/gallon, if not more.
