108 gram Egg!

Our first overly large egg! We've had some jumbo eggs from certain layers, but this is from our BJG that is 8 months old. Our previous female BJG never laid such big eggs, so we were surprised to find this in the nest box!

108 grams and nearly 3.75" long!

We will open it up tomorrow to see if its double yolk.

I wonder if it could be an egg inside of an egg. One of my hens laid a huge egg and I was shocked when there was another egg inside of it!

we plan to open it tomorrow! I’ll guess it just a double yolk, but egg in an egg would be really interesting!
