108 gram large egg was an egg inside of egg.

I'm sure your hen will be glad to know that this is a rare occurrence too. Passing extra-jumbo eggs is hard for even an experienced layer, but having an egg that size fresh out of the gate has got to be an eye opener to your young girl!

Two days ago my chicken laid her first egg and it was very large 102 gram today she laid an egg that was even bigger at 108 grams. This one had been pecked at and had a little hole so I knew I would have to cook it and to my surprise what came out was a yolk and another complete smaller egg. When I cracked the second egg interestingly the yolks were the same size. So now I'm wondering will the first egg be another egg within an egg? I've read this is supposed to be rare but who knows? I just went out and checked my chickens and yesterday only got 2 eggs. Today there was 4 regular and 1 jumbo. 110 grams Can’t fit it in the egg carton. Poor chicken
