I candled again last night. It looks like most of the chicken eggs are looking good with nice veining but I think all the turkey eggs are officially a bust :/ Oh well. Chicks and quail probably for the New Year. The turkey poults will come later.

I’ve got several other incubators but they’re all full.

DH is hinting that I have my replacement coming just in time for Christmas. We shall see!!!

My Christmas chicks are going to be here right on schedule. So there’s that. Every hatch I set after is good to go.

I knew better than to set eggs in that incubator. I thought I’d give it one more shot. It is reading 80* F when it’s maxed out. Can’t even use it as a Hatcher.

I am hatching quail and the recommendation was to not candle because you cannot see into them
