I’ve just started with a 10x10 for my run...building a 4x5 coop inside of it (raised up so not loosing any run square footage....only plan on 5-10 birds tho so I know they will be comfy

Your coop is only big enough for a maximum of 4-5 hens

Thanks ! We went with 5 chicks..
I do believe in chicken math and not afraid to upgrade the run/coop at some point but we’re a small family not living in a highly rural area so I think we will be content for a couple years ...
