11/11 hatched-- 1/11 hatched!! Removed from incubator

i had 11 eggs in the incubator last night. Heard peeping but no external pop. Woke up to this little one, but very active so move to the brooder box... I can see 4 more pips and chirping! Same set date should the eggs moving create a problem with the other hatches in terms of position?

Heh. Rotten chicks tend to roll unhatched eggs everywhere. I think it helps to break them.

Actually I have heard that the hatched chicks peeing helps encourage the unhatched chicks to hatch.

started with 12 - one quit by day 6ish. out of the remaining 11 -- 11 chicks! 10 on day 20 and last overnight to 21. now praying for pullets!!

Awesome! That's pretty rare to hatch every one!

Barnyard mix... Rooster is easter egger {sold as ameraucana pullet lol}. Hens were EE, black sexlink and red sexlink. all are strong little ones.
