11/12 Week-Old New Hampshire - Cockerel or Pullet?

We were assured we were getting pullets but Chili here just started quasi-crowing this morning. Pretty sure we know what that means but would really appreciate the best guess of some of you more seasoned members before we get rid of him/her as our city does not allow roosters . Thanks!

Definitely a roo. He’s so pretty!

I’d say yes as well. You can tell for sure by checking his tail feathers. If they have that green sheen then it’s a cockerel. Hens won’t have green feathers(at least on the bantam NH reds)

There is really no second guessing it. He even has the pointed shoulder feathers coming in

My little Blue Wyandotte made his first attempt at crowing (more like croaking) this morning too!!!

It startled me honestly. I was like, what was that!?!? Did u just try to crow!! And he just stood there all innocent. I think he may have startled himself! Lol
