11 week old chickens - roo or pullets and what breed?!

Hello everyone, i am still new here and would love to hear what more experienced chicken owners think if my cute babies.

They are 11 weeks as of tomorrow. I got them as day old chickes from the feed store, supposedly pullets but yeah...lol.

As of right now i thought i have 1 easter egger (mo) 1 orpington (peep) and 2 RIR (microwave and chicki). I could be totally off of course.


On top of this dilemma, i am not even sure if they are pullets or cockerels, i cannot keep roosters so that would break my heart if i had to even give one away. But i am prepared that it could happen so i already got in contact with some ladies that may be able to give my rooster(s) a home, if i have any.

Mo and peep i have a close up of mo has redder waddles and comb than peep, the photo bomber on both of those shows the RIR (chicki and microwave) waddles and combs, very very pale but one has a pointy tail the other doesnt, so here i am unsure too. The RIR have different tails i think i noticed, even the hens. So again...im running in circles i think lol.

Please dont laugh. My 16 year old named microwave lol

Oh my thats interesting. I wouldnt have thought mo is a RIR but ill take it. Hahahaha. And if they are all pullets then im a happy camper. Thanks so much ❤

Haha yets my son is his weird stage so he went with microwave. but that makes it all fun!

Mo is also a RIR, and peep is either a Golden comet or Red Sex-link.

I agree! Definitely update on egg colors laid though... The body type of Peep makes me think Starlight Green Egger is a real possibility Mo also has an interesting body type for a RIR. Keep an eye out for earlobe colors on both. White would indicate something other than RIR and Red Sexlink. I believe Starlights also frequently are black tailed red.

I almost said SGE. Wouldn't be surprised if she lays green.

Hey guys, so its been only a week and a half an Mo has made a huge change and i mean very drastic. That comb and wattle are huge now and very red.

Is she a he?
