I could also find a puppy and tell him his 12 year old spayed bird dog gave birth.....

I know my dad pulled a good one on me with my 12 week olds and stuck other chicken eggs in their nest box LOL That IS early! IF they had laid that early I should add after rereading LOLOL I would be careful for them getting egg bound with starting so early...that is the downfall to having early layers

I have always heard the later the better (for them) it is.
