11 week old Easter egger: pullet or cockerel?

We bought two golden EEs together when they were one day old. They are 11 weeks now and both are supposed to be females but they look very different.

Sorry about the photo quality. My roommate's out of town and I didn't have anyone to hold her/him for me so I did the best I could from outside the coop. I thought they'd be a little more sedate at night but they never stop moving when I'm around (they always think they're getting treats, hm, I wonder why? ). The other thirteen kept photo bombing and I got a ton of hilariously bad photos. I picked the best ones I could.

Probably a cockerel with the comb/wattles so big and colorful at that age. Within a few weeks it will start showing male specific feathering if it is indeed a cockerel, so I would wait a bit if you cannot keep males.

He's a good bit smaller than our other golden EE. I was really hoping I was wrong.

We cannot have roos where we live and this will be our second one.

Well, this is weird. I agreed, cockerel.

She surprised everyone last week when she gave us our very First Egg. Not only is she a hen but she's an olive egger. She laid three more after that (the white one was the first egg from one of our leghorns).

That was certainly a nice surprise. I'm glad we gave her a gender-neutral name: Casey!

Love this! I’m glad you waited before getting rid of what you thought was a rooster. EEs and OEs are so hard to sex!

Everyone stays with us unless we hear & see crowing! There are a few more in our flock that I have concerns about but I'm crossing my fingers that everyone else is a girl. So far so good.
