I believe I should get the 110 because that's the same as the outlets here in America right?

It makes you choose either 110 or 220 when adding it to the cart.
 
The 220 in question here is European 50hz, not like NA 220v which is 60hz. You don’t want 220 regardless, just get the 110v then you can use any standard household outlet in North America.
 
Thank you! From searching online that's what I thought but know very little about electricity.
 
220 VAC 50Hz is a European standard and won't work on regulr US outlets.
In a pinch, you can run a 220VAC circuit from your breaker panel which will be 60Hz but that shouldn't make much difference for a heating element.
