I want to get some Bearded Buff Silkie eggs in the spring. I was wondering if anybody here has ordered buff silkie eggs from somebody and got great looking chicks.

hinkjc has very nice buffs. I got eggs from her early last year and had a great hatch.

Look up Sassysilkies (jen) Her silkies look amazing.

I concur on Sassy Silkies. She has beautiful birds and bought up the last of my chicks when I sold my flocks. I'm not sure how they turned out, but she has beautiful birds otherwise and some from Eddy Travers as well.

good luck on the hattrick buff eggs!
I have tried before. They are by auction only and go for $100-$200 per dozen!
I dont care how good the parents are, that's just rediculous.

Sassy does have a good rep and nice pics.

I too have been looking for good buffs, they are the hardest to get an honest sell from a breeder on I believe.I have been trying for 4 years or so now, and everything turns out to be junk. One lady off ebay last year even sent me 12 ROTTEN EGGS, Far cry from the SQ eggs that were andvertised.
If you find a good supplier or eggs or chicks, pleae post them here!
