11th Annual Easter Hatch a Long 2020

I want to join. One of my Cochin bantam hens just went broody, so I have 5 Easter egger eggs and 1 cuckoo maran Hen x Easter egger Rooster egg for her to set on! All Large Fowl eggs by the way!

I think it’s to notify everyone about this hatch along since many have mentioned that they wish they had known about it sooner to have had enough time to set eggs or to have been able to set them on time.

I’m so excited to see what eggs I collect tomorrow. I may just go ahead and incubate some random barnyard mixes along with my Olive Eggers.

My Ameraucana eggs all seem to be duds...Our rooster is able to fertilize the Rhode Island Reds and Plymouth’s rocks no problem, but our Ameraucanas are not fertile.....

I want to join the Hatch a long! I had already planned to hatch some in my incubator this week! My only broody hen is my sebright bantam and I have no idea where her clutch is hidden. She only shows up midday to drink or eat and quickly disappears! I will be hatching some green eggs from my Easter egger hen.

I have my first broody of the year! She is sitting on 6 "barnyard mutt" eggs since it's her first time. The eggs should hatch April 5th. Can I still join the Hatch Along?

I have found this to be the case in my IncuView as well and I do rotate my eggs to make up for the temperature variation in the incubator. It's one of my biggest complaints with the IncuView but it's pretty standard in many incubators unless they have a turner that goes all the way around the incubator. Other than being a bit dryer than my other incubators the IncuView is still one of my favorites. Good luck on your hatch!

EDIT to add, yes I would leave it at 99.5°F unless you find that it's predominantly low in most spots. I mapped out the entire incubator and I do have a corner that occasionally drops to around 98.9 and another corner that gets as high as 101.2 but most of the incubator reads at 99.5 to 100.
