Cute! Are you keeping those on wood pellets? I thought about doing that with mine, but wasn't sure if it would work, or how long before the chicks grow enough to start eating them.

And, I presume you're using $0.10/lb. fuel pellets, not $0.75/lb. "Pit Boss Competition Blend" smoking/cooking pellets (though they say the apple and cherry pellets really enhance the flavors of chicken and fish, I think you're a bit early to start cooking those birds....)
We’re using horse bedding pellets from D&B. We’ve never had issue with the chicks eating it.

Dare I say it?

Consider reading shadrachs articles on roosters. He makes a strong argument for rooster aggression being more to do with husbandry and not genetics.

It might help since cream legbars are high energy birds that might need a different bit of upbringing
I have had success with both the advice from Shadrach's article, as well as BantyChooks article on roosters. Good thing, because in my entire life I've only ever had a single "naturally" nice rooster (a Light Brahma). Everyone else has had to learn their manners.

This may sound strange, but I have found things in the fridge. They went to get something out of the fridge and set down whatever they had in their hand, and forgot to pick it back up.
My dad lost his wallet in the fridge 😂 he cancelled all his cards and everything and a week later they found it behind his mountain dews 😂

Hatching in winter is awful. I don't like chicks in the house for more than 4-5 days. After that I want them outside in the shed brooder with their brooder plate. In the winter I can't do that because it gets way too cold.
I never put them in the house. In the garage they go, with their little heating pad. I couldn't have them in the house, either.
