12, almost 2 week old Black Australorps-question about sex of chicks

I have 12 almost 2 week old Black Australorp chicks. They are precious! I have noticed that about 8 out of 12 are already growing major wing feathers and tail feathers-the others are slower growing but have a bit (just a bit) more comb growing. Does more rapid tail feather/wing growth mean pullets? Please tell me yes...

But as a general rule, yes. There are always exceptions.

And we need pictures to gauge said feather and comb growth, as well as to enjoy. Pictures always make the post!

Will do...I'll try to get some pics soon. I was just hoping to get some wisdom as to feather growth. I can see some trends...just hope they are right and I have more pullets than roos!!!! Here's to hoping!

I have three that are 5 1/2 weeks old. They are all feathering out at the same rate by they aren't losing their yellow at the same rate. Also, I have two with pink combs and one with a black comb???? Ever hear of that?
