These are some cute little eggs. Had a very high development rate with them, 10 are in lockdown and there are lots of pips tonight.

I hope you have a great hatch. These might be my last ones for awhile as I"ve put some hens in with the frizzle roosters and it looks like they are going to slow down on the laying.

Its really a great deal, someone will be happy. Wish we could get more but too many eggs right now. The dozen we got from you have so far had the best hatch rate of shipped eggs here. 10 went to lockdown, 9 have hached, 1 left I will check in the morning, the hatched chicks are very active and healthy.

I usually get 100% hatch here at home. I love this breed, they do hatch easy and are up and going. They are truely hardy little buggers. What colors did you get??

Not really sure on colors, one is yellow so probably splash, there are 3 I think might be blues, rest look black (just a guess though).
Turns out #10 was a clear I somehow missed candling, so that means all the eggs with chicks that went to lockdown made it. Excellent hatch rate considering these are shipped eggs.

Unfortunately shipping was so hard on them, alot of them stopped developing around day 12 and only got one hatch, a beautiful blue chick. The chick was out with the broody moms and the poor chick got killed by one of the other hens at three days old. So later, I will try again once the poor broody moms get back to broody again. I didn't realize that they "whined" alot with the loss of the chick and they "henpecked" the assaulter for a whole day....

This was the second time this killer hen killed chicks so she will be banned for ever have any chicks of her own or being around ANY chicks. She brood three times already but stopped in the middle and just quit about the seventh day in all those three broody times. Now, she is to be an egg layer, nothing more. She will NOT be a broody anymore.

What a BAD Hen !!! That is to bad. I never let hens set on eggs, all mine go in the incubator.

Hi there,
Just thought I would let you know I have 4 pips so far this evening.....umm...they are not scheduled to hatch until thurs. or friday. I guess they are hardy little bugars! All but 1 of mine have developed. I will keep you posted on the hatch success. (I must add, before I got your eggs I said I would never buy shipped eggs again.) Now I know you can be successfull with shipped eggs.
