I do sell chicks, quite frequently actually - but I have never shipped chicks. I dont know the first thing about doing it or how much it costs, the boxes, etc etc.

If someone here is experienced in it, and can tell me exactly what I need to do, then I'm all for it....but the buyer would have to pay for the shipping and box fees, supplies, etc that it would take to get them to their destination.

I have so many serama babies right now, I'd love to sell them and ship them *if* I can find out how to do it safely.

Wire a small container (like a small yogurt container) in the corner in the box. Make Jello using electrolytes (like Pedialyte) instead of water. This goes in the container the morning of shipment. Check the weather- never ship in very hot weather or when bad storms are expected along the route. Buyers understand if you must delay for poor weather. Avoid grain or feed- you don't want them pooping like crazy during the trip.
