Well,

We have moved our Goldens around and set up new breeding pens. These girls are just coming on line, and only a few of them have been laying. We did a fertility check, and it looks good. Pens were set up on July 4th, so there may be some residual cross pollination from some standard cuckoo marans.

I am not sure how many we have on hand, as up until now we have been putting them in with the eating eggs.

I can throw in a few for test hatching purposes.

The are in the incubator and looking great.

For anyone concerned, he did a wonderful job packaging, none of the eggs were broke and the aircells look great.

I was asked for a Roo Photo in PM, here we go. A stock photo so to speak, about two months ago. He has since filled out a bit more, and has had his beard picked out by the ladies. Kind of humiliating for him

I am in Shelton and am getting started with chickens, well, I am getting started at getting started...reading reading reading, now figuring out where to put the coop, what type of coop, type of chickens, on and on.
Do you think we could meet for some advice and tips and when I am set up, to buy some eggs?

Your birds are so beautiful!

I want some so bad!! My hubby would freak if I spent that much on eggs. I am going to beg and plead though. I so want a blue ameraucana hen! We got some ameraucanas from a hatchery a couple months ago and of course no blues. I should have just waited and bought eggs from you! I wish you lived closer so I could just go steal one of your hens! jk
