The wife and I took a look last night. Out of 14, 3 where clear and 3 had what looked like air sack at the top and air sack in the bottom. I put them aside and opened them. The 3 with the double air sack had chicks in them the size of a dime with a blood ring around the shell. What would cause this to happen? The remaining eggs looked to be filling in quite nicely. Now that I am down to 8 eggs and I know I will lose some of those, I have been looking for day old chicks on the web. I must be looking to early because no one with in 100 miles is up and running as of yet. Looking for some suggestions on what I am doing wrong. John

John,

sometimes we can get all the conditions just perfect for the eggs and for some reason things like this happen. You probably aren't doing anything wrong just Mother nature i suppose.
