12 day old chick died

I'm going to try and answer everything here...poop looks normal...eating and drinking free choice Country Road Starter/Grower combo (sold at Rural King)...no lethargy or sluggish behavior. I have washed everything and refresh the bedding every day and completely change it every other day...they do have the electrolytes in their water...the only thing that's been different the past few days is I opened a new bag of pine shavings. Could there be something on these making them sick? I check every day to make sure the height of the waterer and the electric mama hen are good and I take a picture under the mama every day to make sure they aren't too close and getting too hot. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I've been searching for answers but I'm stumped. There's a lot of things it could be:

Do you have an affordable vet nearby who could do a necropsy? Or would you want to do one yourself? I'm not seeing an obvious cause. I'm sorry I haven't been able to be of more help.
