I got 13 ducks from MMH about 2 months ago. They moved outside and were loving the outside weather, and the pond. They would spend most of the day in the pond then come back to the coop at night. Well one night they slept down at the pond and were at the opposite side so I couldn't get them back, they were all fine in the morning and this went on about a week. Four or five days ago I hear all the duck quaking and making a fuss I ran out, turned all the lights on outside and ran down to the pond. One of the blue swedish was up by the coop so I grabbed her and put her inside. I went to go check on the other ducks and they were all in the pond, all 12, I made sure I counted. I couldn't reach them to get them back in so I just waited. After about an hour I hadn't hear anything and they went over to the other side and I didn't hear a peep out of them. That was about 11:00 at night. I woke up around 7am and they were all gone, except for the Blue Swedish I put in the pen. I walked around the pond, no feathers, blood, or anything left behind. I have been having problems with coyotes, but they always left feathers behind. How can 12 ducks disapear and leave no feathers or anything behind. The only other thing I can think of is that someone stole them. Any ideas...
