12+ Easter Egger Eggs (Lavendar Ameraucana rooster in pen!)

My lavendar ameraucana is purebred. My lavendar babies I get really look lavendar....I don't know if they will or will not breed lavendar babies because this is a young flock and I haven't had the time to see this yet. There is a lavendar color in all my rooster in tail & body colors. I will be looking at the babies and how they grow out....JUST to clarify for everyone. Many of the babies look lavendar. I have also hatched black babies from this pen, so I suspect that there is a pure black ameraucana in the blood lines of some of the hens that's pinging on Sharky's genes. Many of the ladies I'm going to put in a pen for Olive eggers but I'm going to do this late season....I'm just entranced by the light colors and different colors I'm getting from the two pens, just so beautiful.

And blue and green eggs!

What amazes me is that I hatched these birds from blue, green and pink eggs, but none of them lay pink eggs??? Why is that???? Totally fascinated by the genes in this flock!

If there was a pure black ameraucana in the gene pool, could that ping off a lavendar baby???? As in a recessive gene of one of these hens against Sharkey's pure lavendar??? The reason I asked that is that the gentleman i bought the ee eggs from said he had a pure black hen in the flock for a long time - several years and then she passed away and that every now and then he got a pure black one???? So is that possible.... It may well be a blue as well.

For those of you hatching these eggs, please keep sending me pics and let's keep looking. They intrigue me so!

You have Lavender Orpingtons. You know how that works .... it is the same thing.
Lavender x Black = Black carrying the Lavender gene. They all look black but they carry the lavender gene. They have 1 copy of Black and 1 copy of Lavender.

You can not get Lavender from only one parent.

Then we must be seeing a blurring or a blue as you called it but lovely colors. I do have some up and coming lavendar ameraucanas chicks that will be put with Sharky later this year. So finally we will have 100% lavendar babies!
