Could you remove your avatar ? my wife thinks i'm up to something and it has nothing to do with chickens .......... lol .....

just kidding you

I would love to get more eggs but when I get all the eggs I just ordered tonight my bator will be full. Good thing hubby is asleep. He would pass out if he knew. lol What does he expect? He just bought me a brand new bator that will hold plenty of eggs. Gotta try it out don't I?

I hatched 14 of 17 eggs from 2 different shipments, 1 didn't hatch from the first 8 and 2 never developed from the other 9. You guys asked for pictures. Here's a pic of egg shells

Mostly feather footed in the first pic. Polish are easy and there are 2 bantams in the second pic that are from someone else's eggs. Beautiful chicks!

The grey one with the yellow head is aa EE. I had one just like it. Turned out to be a beautiful hen. She is like a light brown starting at the head and gets lighter as it goes towards her tail. Looks like she has feathers sticking out her ears. Mine's name is Spike.

This is her at 12 weeks old

Are you talking about the bottom picture the chick closest or the one right under the black polish chick? The one closest with her head down is a polish (you just can't see the 'topknot' at that angle), and the one below the black polish is a feather footed bantam mystery chick from the fair's small animal pavilion that is already a week old. Now the one on the far right is an EE, so, sorry if that is the one you were talking about. My guesses on the other 2 in the bottom pic is a Lt Brahma and a black/dark EE-Aracuana-Ameracuana (green egg)? No idea on the first chick pic but they came from those eggs. Maybe cochin?

Top picture it is the chick in the corner on the top left. Same chick on botom picture on bottom right. I tried and tried to identify this chick bur nobody knew until her feathers came out and they asked me about color of legs. They are a greenish. Are the legs a greenish color? If so this is an EE and I bet it turnes out to be similar to the one in the pic I posted
