how soon do they lay eggs and what size are they-whos louder males or females-and do they constantly scream like DH says? Im sacreing him hha

Hangin, I can't say that they do or not...because mine don't ...lol they are noisy when there are new things around ...that will make them nervous....IMO, if you raise them with the chickens, they will follow them and shouldn't wander as far....I will allow mine to free range while we are outside, but they don't even go the inlaws (which is right next door) lol

My hens started laying at 7 months....the males are usually the ones to alert of danger...I don't have the problem of them screaming all the time...but some do say they scream alot...lol They are the funniest creatures IMO....

Thanks Hangin! They still follow her around as if she was their mother...I hatched them in the incubator last year...When they got old enough to let free with the chickens...they took to her and she did them (BR hen wasn't even laying eggs then, but still acted like momma)
