Wow! So far I am lucky. I can't say I haven't had chicks that have passed away due to unknown reasons but that happens in all the breeds I raise. And the Araucanas are the worse to have lethals but I expect that from tufted to tufted. I still get about an 80% hatch rate.
Araucanas can be tough to raise, most difficult to get a show bird from and frustrating to a novice. But they are so great and I just keep on raising these beauties. Well, I try. I keep getting talked out of some really nice birds! My numbers are too low.
