1st egg from our hens!

10 eggs from 12 birds.
Not bad considering it snowed a couple of inches last week .

Nice size too. Mine always end up laying small in the beginning.

We got our first egg, we have 9 hens and a bunch of them are “assuming the position” so we knew they were ready - all are about 17-18 weeks old.
I noticed one of the Plymouth rocks going into the coop during the day today, then tonight, we found this!!
