Using the NR360.. it’s been very consistent I have been very happy with it. Hoping that we dont have any of the problems we had with our cheapy incubator we hatched the last 5 in. Will document More hatching and developments here. These are Easter Egger / Lav Orpington mix (5) and Welsummer/Lav Orpington Mix. (7) Just weighted and candled them before lockdown. Airsacks all look good and they all have decreased in weight.. i have to figure out the math… but it seems like there is a chance we could have 12 viable eggs here… my rooster has been working his magic!! Such a good boy!! Should hatch Sunday March 26.

Awoke to 3 more hatchlings… happy my Early bird now has some siblings to knock about… will move these to the brooder when they all fluff … out of 12 eggs… we have 9 pips of that 4 hatchlings. The three that havent yet pipped still seem viable. They are Easter egger so i can only see the air sac. Not much of anything else.. i think these are just late bloomers going to keep the hope alive. i notice that the Easter egger. Pip, zip and hatch pretty fast. The wellsumers pip and then zip the next 12-24 hours later.. right now i have 2 Welsummer hatchlings and 2 EE hatchlings. Hoping for at least 1 more EE - the rest, all Welsummer have pipped and i expect them to hatch - they are working on zipping now… making progress anyway.
