They do go broody.My birds came frome Chris McCarey and if I understood him right he raises most of his chicks with his broody hens instead of incubating.I don't think they go broody all the time like a cochin but they do go broody.

When I get my bator back up and running I want to get some of your Buckeye eggs. They are very nice. I have been raising Buckeyes for several years and need some new blood.

I find that my Buckeyes do not go broody very often.
