12++ Splash Silkie eggs, for shipping 5/2/11. The photo is of the roo and a couple of his ladies.

Fertility has been 100% lately, so I am overrun with silkies.

They all have good toe separation, the required number of toes, good crests (though not extreme) and have really nice soft feathering. The girl on the right is missing a few of her crest feathers due to mating, but when she was younger she was poofier than the little girl on the left.

I shipped a dozen to New York 6 weeks ago, and all but one hatched.

I like your wording - "good crests, but not extreme". I strive for good crests in my birds, BUT, I have almost come to the conclusion that I'd rather be able to see their eyes, and not have to constantly be cleaning the feed out of their top hats!

And truthfully, I have sold all of the Splash babies I've hatched so far, so I can't share pics of the chicks!!
