Here is an updated photo of my rooster and his sorry tail .. as you can see he has grown in some colorful ones but still doesn't have the beautiful arching tail feathers of the typical rooster.. his crows make up for it lol He is about 8 months

Brahmas are slow to mature. They say takes two years to be fully grown so feather should improve

Been a long while since I did an update on my brahma boy with slow tail growth.. here he is today, tail completely normal and he is a big boy.. the daddy to all my baby hatchlings. He is very good to his girls however is getting very touchy with humans and that's starting to concern me..

have you tried the pinning method? It’s helped me in the past but it doesn’t help all roosters.

I'm not sure what pinning is but he finally got his tail so I guess I just used patience lol
