12 Week old Easter Egger

Is this a pullet or a roo? 12 week old easter egger I thought I might have heard a crow this morning.

Yep, that's a cockerel. Has those lovely flowing saddle feathers, rather than the puffy ones the girls get.

He is a boy, see how tall he stands? That is a sign, but the biggest sign is his tail and the saddle feathers right before that tail

The saddle feathers are very thin and pointed, only roosters have that and thus tail is going up and over, a pullet would have a tail all the same length and big rounded saddle feathers like the handle edge of a spoon

If you can keep him, he may be a great pet/value to you, mine are... they even greet me every time I come home
