My Girls are 12 weeks now and when I get up at 6 am to lower the ladder they used to jump right down and have breakfast and some fresh water but the last couple of days they hung out on the roosting pole. I noticed too that during the day they go up for a nap too?
Is this something I should be concerned with?
They eat fine and look good. I have not had chickens at this age before.
It has been really really hot and I have a catawabe a frame coop. I have kept one of those tarp tents over the coop to help keep it out of direct sunlight.
