I agree.. i think the smaller one with the bigger wattles is a cockerel. My cockerel started off smaller that the pullet. But, that definitely changed as they got older. My lav Orp pullet was the biggest chick of the bunch. She still runs the flock. I'd say she was even in charge of the cockerel while he was around.I think your smaller one with the large combs and wattles is a cockerel. Larger one looks like a pullet. It is really hard to be patient, totally understand that. Don't stress yourself out looking for male feathering yet, you probably have at least 2-4 more weeks to wait.
Other strange characteristic I noticed was that my cockerel was not at all "graceful" like the other chicks (all pullets) were. He definitely seemed more clumsy and was always obsessed with watching the other girls. I'm not sure if this is a male trait or not, but looking back there was a difference between him and the female chicks.
