Tea is ready..coffee after this...

Cold and cold, we got mighty wind yesterday so bad.

I am roasting mandarin fruit skin in the oven now, it gives out this sweet smell, and warm.

I spent hours this afternoon with my feet in Lake Michigan. The water was surprisingly warm! I found a few rocks that I brought home; they'll sit on the window sill for awhile, and then I'll wonder what they're there for, and toss them out into the woods.

I have saved them from turning into sand!

I put rock finds around my pond.

When we got home, the house was chilly. It will be chilly overnight, so hubby decided we needed a fire in the woodstove. I don't think we've ever had a fire this early. We have had them in June when it's been chilly, so I don't know why this should surprise me.

I used to keep them in baskets on a book case. Now I place them around the Chicken Coop - but still have some in baskets!
