I couldn't tell you but I assume he's just hatchery quality. He seems to even have a cushion comb. From my reading, birds can be heterozygous or homozygous for beard and muffs. If his parents were both heterozygous then 25% of their offspring would be clean faced like him.But there is a lack of muffs?
