12 week old SLW again...

Hi friends! Soooo I have to ask.. I posted pics a long time ago of my SLW who I thought might have been a Roo.. here she/he is at 12 weeks.... thoughts? I see no saddle feathers...no crowing but stands very tall?! Thoughts!!

I agree, cockerel. If you look at the feathers just in front of the tail that have pointy tips, those are the saddle feathers and are a sure sign of a boy.

I’m not seeing the saddle feathers everyone else.. they still look rounded to me. The silver part is pointyish but the black around it is round so I’m stumped... he/she is a very big chicken tho!

Hi! I’m having a hard time seeing saddle feathers.. I can see how silver part is pointyish but the black around it is roundish... either way he/she is huge! I’m going to try keeping him. He is very bonded with one of my girls and so far very nice..

I’m not seeing any pointy saddle feathers but I do see pointy hackle feathers. With all that red...I’d say cockerel.
