You can tilt them in the caton for the first couple of days.

After that, you can tilt them by turning them end over end three times a day. They need to be set in cut down cartons at lockdown too.

I will see what I can set up for tilting them tomorrow but it will be a bit tricky in a Nuture right 360 not a lot of room for them. I may sit up my IncuView incubator instead.

I do not know about that incubator but some of them you can safely tilt the incubator-- put a block under one side and then tilt the other way three times a day.

I think my hubby is getting me an incubator for Christmas!! But I wish I had it right now so I could join this hatch a long!! Can’t wait to see everyone’s hatches!

Today is set day for chicken eggs!

I may or may not have forgotten that today is The Day, so I'll be setting just a little bit late because I only just plugged in the Octagon to warm up.



Also, I only have 4 eggs to set at the moment because my nephew threw a Sunny D bottle in the kitchen for whatever reason, and it didn't hit the pile of eating eggs, of course, it hit the hand full of eggs I was sitting aside for this. So, I'm hoping Zinni lays another egg or two over the weekend to add in by Sunday. I'm assuming those will count even if they're late? I'm still not confident that they're even fertilized, but what the heck, I'll go ahead and join in.

Yeah, it's frustrating. I'm not really sure what got into him to throw that, let alone in the kitchen of all places. Then on top of that, no one told me about it and I ended up finding a half-cleaned-up, dried-egg-goop mess the next day, so I'm not happy about it.
