So,I set 42, but turns out my lavender roo did not fertilize his hens eggs. just noticed he's molting so maybe that's why? So no lavender orps or black split lavender olive eggers. My projects for this hatch are just some chocolate wyandottes, chocolate olive eggers and the whites are a leghorn with an ee to check his egg gene color. the double yolk I think is dead, giving it 2 more days. 32 seem to be growing though. I don't know how the numbers thing works,so these don't need to be added for contests, Ijust wanna share and see chicks hatched on New Years!
He should get back with the program after the moult!

I hope the rest hatch well for you

I have that same thermometer! But it doesn’t find in my NR360 so I don’t use it anymore 😂

I mixed my white leghorn with an olive egger and the only pullet I kept laid gray eggs that later turned more olive. I’m curious to see what mixing with an EE will produce! (The male was the leghorn).

It’s only day two since I set my eggs. Can I candle them?! I’m so impatient I just wanna see if they’re developing/if they were fertilized. After that I can leave them alone.

I’ll try my best to leave them be til Saturday...

Of course you can!

They are your eggs. You might now see much though....

Candled just because yesterday and pulled 3 quitters. Think we’re at 38? 🤔

And some how managed to get a poop ton of eggs the last three or four days lol

I have the digital one in there too, that came with the incubator. just can't see it lol.

My EE is a gold duckwing color. Just a typical Tractor Supply easter egger.crossed with my leghorn hen chicks will be white with black spots, but sexlinked because of shank color. the egg color will he my only surprise. i'm fairy confident he is green layer,as i've hatched from him and another green laying ee and have gotten all green laying offspring. ifhe were brown layer, he would have thrown half brown half green.
