I’m out of the running. All 12 of mine were too old to have developed. Cracked the last one open and not a hint of red. Just runny yolk.

But the 6 free eggs I got are all growing The rooster was a silkie so I can’t wait to see silkie mixes poppin out of eggshells!

so we hatched out a bakers dozen this past weekend.... mostly marans and marans cross... so pretty. for some reason i have 2 that think they should lay on their backs with feet in the air??? silly birds. i keep hoping they will right themselves but so far no luck..

have eggs to move to lockdown this wednesday.
hope for a good hatch for everyone

Are they craning their necks back and falling over? Or are they just sleeping that way?
