Just finished catching up on 20 pages ofreplies lol
I'll be doing my first candling tonight ( day 7 for me on the bresse eggs). I generally only do 2 candles on chicken eggs, one around day 6-8 and one a day or two before " lock down". I don't candle quail eggs at all. Generally, I can't see anything in them until they are about ready to hatch lol.
Hope all is going well. :)
 Quail eggs are hit or miss.

Hi I need help , so am student and i started incubating eggs in my student room , so i will move incubator during the incubation proces(bring incubator home). What is best day of incubaation to make transfer it can be from day 7to day 11.
Also how to transfer it.
I cant leave eggs in incubator beacause i must drive and and eggs would crush in my incubator.
So I must take eggs from incubator, and also my eggs in incubator are not placed like in cartons , they laying on the side so i think its better to transfer them in that postion..
I mean put the eggs in a bowl with a lid, arrange them on hand paper and put one bottle of gravel water on the bottom of the bowl.
Any ideas or someone with experience with transfering incubator
If it’s only one hour, wrap them in a towel, and you’re set. No harm will be done! :highfive:

This is everyone that said they are setting eggs

Ummmm, maybe you missed my reply after midnight?
